Kelly Clarkson went viral after calling out a Brooklyn magic shop, Art of Play, for treating her like she couldn’t afford a $15,000 singing bird.

Newly released security footage shows she was in the store for under five minutes and tweeted about it (pun) roughly 15 minutes after leaving (with no audio it still doesn’t show what was actually said.) The owner says the shop has been flooded with threats since and that they are in ‘danger’ a

★ Sally Rooney’s books are no longer being sold in the UK.

Her publisher Faber says it legally can’t pay her UK earnings after she pledged to donate her royalties to Palestine Action (the group the UK government banned as a terrorist organisation in 2025),

so she’s pulled them.

“As a result, the fulfilment of contracts to publish my work in the U.K. could now constitute a serious criminal offence. After a process of consultation and deliberation, and with my full agreement, my publisher Faber has therefore determined that it can no longer supply my work within the U.K. I have made every effort to be honest with the public about my beliefs and intentions, and I am wholly prepared to accept the consequences.”
